The light is diffused through a Perspex (acrylic) plate and they are available in a variety of different tints such as orange, blue or grey. Their web site explains that is was a collaboration between Itai Bar-on and Oded Webman, a Tel-Aviv based designer.
Their free-form concrete tiles are also worth checking out.

Amazing. How did you manage to insert the lamps that way into the concrete? It looks unique and could work as a great accent light in a museum or maybe a music venue.

I would have never thought to use concrete for lighting fixtures like these. I really like the way the panels are set up so that some lights behind them shine through the cracks. I would like to see what other kinds of things like this other people can come up with.

I wonder if these are from concrete contractors or just regular artists. I think this design is really cool. I could see a contractor doing this type of detail if his client really wanted him to do that. I will have to see if that is available. If it is I may have to get that for my retaining wall. I think it would make it look nicer if we did something to decorate it like this.

I've never seen a concrete contractor do something like this with lights before. The fact that the entire wall is make of concrete already makes it look cool, but with the concrete being formed around the lights makes it look so much cooler. The look of things is something that people have never seen before.
